The other day you mentioned you would like to try writing a historical but were unsure of a place & time period. You mentioned Australia and that brought to mind a film I saw a few years back titled 'The Incredible Journey of Mary Bryant'. The film was based on true events and takes place in late 1700's and is about a young English woman who is transported to Australia for petty theft. I would love to read a book that would deal with that time and place.
