I have to say that the opening scene was one the most original and funniest I have read in a while. A freaking singagram, I didn't even know those were still a thing, but Tessa Bailey made very good use of it. So the story starts off pretty strong with that one, then a kiss that will knock your socks off and the chase is on.
Though it was never Roxy's intention to blow Louis' world and have him chase her, she can't deny to fun she's having with this lawyer boy. It's always nice when a handsome man is into you, tries to charm you and puts on the full woo for you. Let's be honest, Roxy isn't running that hard away from him. The attraction between them is so obvious, that it would be silly to deny it.
Louis really is wonderful. He's successful, handsome, charming, funny, helpful and all kinds of amazing. When a guy like that wants you, you say "yes, please". Though in his quest chasing Roxy, he does make some mistakes, he's a guy afterall. There are certainly enough WTH moments though, to keep him from being too perfect.
Roxy was nice. She's confident, independent, funny, sassy and cute. All things you need to make a great actress, she just needs her chance. So her focus is very much on her career, and while a guy might be nice, it's not something she's pining for. Therefor meeting Louis was a nice surprise, which she fully enjoys. Still sometimes we get to see this little insecure side of her, and realize she's not always as confident as she'd like to be. All this adds some nice drama to the story.
Chase Me was a funny light-hearted sexy love story. Two great main characters, with Louis definitely being my favourite. He isn't just a total sweetheart, the boy has a dirty mouth on him as well, which I loved. The plot was predictable, but the dialogues were on point. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a fast and fun read.

Her most valuable life experiences were learned thereafter while waitressing at K-Dees, a Manhattan pub owned by her uncle. Inside those four walls, she met her husband, best friend and discovered the magic of classic rock, managing to put herself through Kingsborough Community College and the English program at Pace University at the same time. Several stunted attempts to enter the work force as a journalist followed, but romance writing continued to demand her attention.
She now lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband of seven years and three-year-old daughter. Although she is severely sleep-deprived, she is incredibly happy to be living her dream of writing about people falling in love.
