Kissing her best friend's brother never felt so right…
Sela Sullivan is resolved to be the best maid of honor ever, even if it means tolerating the best man. Insufferable, too-handsome Luke Watters is not only the guy who humiliated her at a kissing booth in high school, but he also happens to be her best friend’s older brother. Positive he’s the same arrogant jock, Sela vows to focus on her duties and steer clear of the frustrating—and frustratingly tempting—Luke.
As a world-renowned extreme-sports photographer, Luke is used to undertaking life-risking adventures. But risking his heart for the beautiful Sela Sullivan, who clearly still hates him for his rejection all those years ago? He didn’t see that coming. Sela inspires a passion he’s never known, and the more time they spend together, the more he craves her. But can he prove to the maid of honor he’s become a man of honor?

Sela is the maid of honor for het best friend Vanessa and she gladly takes the role. There is just one person she would love to be able to avoid during the whole wedding thing, that will never happen, Luke. He is the brother of Vanessa and humiliated Sela so badly when they were teenagers she still isn't over it. It doesn't help of course that she might still have a little crush on him, even after all these years. So no way she can avoid him, but she sure as heck will try.
Luke hasn't been back in town for years. He is always traveling around as a photographer, taking pictures of high risk, adrenaline rushing sports. Now after a very serious injury, he's decided to make things slow down a bit and spend some more time with his family during the wedding, including Sela. The more time these two spend together, the harder it gets for both of them to deny the attraction.
The tension between Luke and Sela was very intense. There is a very nice build up and just when you think things might happen, those scenes fade to black. So a very sweet romance, but I wouldn't have mind seeing what went on behind closed bedroom doors.
The overall setting was a bit cliché; best friend's older brother. Still it was very fun to read. What I also liked was the rest of the families. The side characters definitely made it more interesting with some growing love and some frenemies thing going on. At times it did seem a bit too much and was the focus drawn away from the main story line, but I liked it anyway.
Then there is also Shane, Sela's brother and Luke's best friend. It was because of the bro-code that Luke never made a move on Sela, but now he can no longer deny it. Shane is looking out for his sister, so he makes Luke work for it. I love overprotective big brothers. Also Luke really has to put in a lot of effort to convince Sela, his charm alone won't cut it.
Kissing The Maid Of Honor was a cute story and I very much enjoyed reading it. If you like sweet, innocent romance books, than this is one for you.
