There is this scene in Take Me On by Katie McGarry, actually it's more a reference to something that happened between Haley and her ex-boyfriend, that reminded me of this song. It was so bad Haley gave up fighting, which she loved doing and it made her give up on love. She told nobody about what happened, she is ashamed and scared. Meeting West and throughout the story, you see her once again becoming that girl from before the incident. What happened wasn't right, but now she has learned from it and has become stronger.
